General information

The XXVI  Fluid Mechanics Conference - FMC 2024 (Krajowa Konferencja Mechaniki Płynów - KKMP 2024) will be held in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. FMC 2024 will take place from 10 to 13 September 2024. The series of FMC conferences started in 1974, and it is also the 50th anniversary of the series.

The Fluid Mechanics Conference is the key regional event committed to experimental, theoretical and numerical research problems of Fluid Mechanics. The FMC series conference brings together academia and industry researchers, providing a platform for discussion and idea exchange between various FLuid Mechanics communities.

The Warsaw University of Technology organizes the XXVI Fluid Mechanics Conference, and it will take place in the capital of Poland, Warsaw, a modern and vibrant city with a rich history. 

The International Scientific Committee invites prospective authors to submit an abstract of papers to be presented at FMC2024. Papers on topics centred around fluid mechanics, ranging from fundamental problems to applied experimental and numerical techniques and innovative applications, are welcome.

The Organizing Committee encourages companies and institutions to showcase their modern products and equipment in the conference area.

Customarily, the J.W. Elsner Competition will be organized for the best paper during the conference. The competition is addressed towards young researchers under 35 years of age. The Competition winners will be announced during the gala Conference Dinner, organised in TBA.
